Stop by our offices at 640 Broad St. in Providence or 124 Broad St. in Pawtucket or call us
to learn more about getting tested.
How it works:
More about the tests:
HIV is treatable and hepatitis C can be cured. We can provide more information and
connect you with the right medical provider.
Already know your status? Looking for support to navigate or return to medical care?
Many of our staff at Project Weber/RENEW have these same diagnoses. We’ve been there, and we are here to provide peer support throughout whatever your process may be.
For individuals living with HIV, treatment can reduce your viral load to such a low level that you are considered "undetectable" and cannot pass HIV on to a partner. Learn more about "Undetactable = Untransmittable" via the Prevention Access Campaign.
For more information, contact our Community Health Program Manager Mao Narvaez at mnarvaez@weberrenew.org.
We offer safer sex supplies at all of our drop-in centers and during street outreach and community events. Supplies include: condoms, internal condoms, lube, and dental dams.
We are committed to ensuring that individuals who engage in sex work have access to safer sex supplies, as well as regular HIV/STI testing and PrEP. Several members of our staff have lived experience with engaging in sex work and are peer resources and support for our clients.
PrEP is a medication for HIV-negative individuals that can prevent them from getting HIV.
Our staff can help clients learn more about PrEP and connect them to healthcare providers who prescribe it. More about PrEP:
To learn more about PrEP, email mnarvaez@weberrenew.org. Clients who are interested in getting connected to PrEP can also do so through our partners at Open Door Health and other community health centers and providers.
