Your financial support helps us meet our clients’ needs in ways that grant funding often won’t allow. We use donations from supporters for everything from buying our clients socks to ensuring staff have adequate supplies for street outreach.
We accept donations of clothes, hygiene products, home goods, and more on a case-by-case basis. Please email prior to bringing these items to one of our drop-in centers.
Note: Only clean, gently used materials will be accepted. Email info@weberrenew.org to offer supplies or learn more.
Volunteers make invaluable contributions and are given the opportunity to learn more about our work and values through their time with us.
Volunteers help with a range of tasks, including:
We understand some tasks may be triggering based on people’s life experiences, and volunteers are never expected to perform a task that will be harmful to them or make them uncomfortable. We also welcome volunteers who may want to use their time with us toward service hours for a sober house or court-ordered community service.
Due to the complex and peer-based nature of our work, we are currently not able to accept volunteers on street outreach. We also do not accept walk-in volunteers.
We have currently paused additional volunteer opportunities.

Project Weber/RENEW proudly leads Rhode Island's observance of International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st every year. We also regularly participate in the Rally4Recovery every September, RI Pride every June, and many other community events.
