Volunteers help with a range of tasks, including:
- cleaning and organizing the drop-in centers,
- helping make safe injection, fentanyl test strip, and hygiene kits for our clients,
- conducting research to support our advocacy and more.
We understand some tasks may be triggering based on people’s life experiences, and volunteers are never expected to perform a task that will be harmful to them or make them uncomfortable. We also welcome volunteers who may want to use their time with us toward service hours for a sober house or court-ordered community service.
Due to the complex and peer-based nature of our work, we are currently not able to accept volunteers on street outreach. We also do not accept walk-in volunteers.
